My reading pace has not kept up with my ambitions. I fell asleep earlier than expected last nite and was only awakened briefly by The Great Romance falling on my face. This did remind me to keep on reading, but my eyes refused to focus, so I turned out the light and went back to sleep.
The introductory matter by Dominic Alessio is proving to be quite interesting; he’s doing a fine job of contextualizing the story, summarizing its literary history and highlighting some interesting themes, as well as providing some plausible identities for its anonymous author.
