Those internet geeks who’s job it is to create effective spam blockers seem to have fallen a bit behind these days. My spam email count is going back up almost daily.
Funny thing is that most of the new spam seems to be offers for ‘male enhancement products’ in either German or Japanese.
Maybe the WWII psiwar ploy of dropping overly large condoms on those countries is responsible for the angst…
Spammers are very creative. I am normally using spamfighter for my private email address. Blocks most of spam.
For newsletter signups I use http://www.mytrashmail.com. Its a great free service which uses temporary email to fight spam. You wont need any password.

I just thought that it was funny that the two sources are (seemingly) the two countries we fought in WWII.
Maybe decades from now, most of the spam will be Iraqi – and if the theory holds, it won’t be too long before we start getting flooded with Vietnamese spam…
